I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

A Winter Wonderland in the Powder Room, Christmas Home Tour, 2017

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I have been posting my annual Christmas Home Tour, sharing each room in our townhouse decorated for Christmas...

All of these posts are on my side bar if you missed them!!

Today, I will be sharing the Winter Wonderland that I have created in our Powder Room.......

But first, I want to Thank Kathy, over at A Delightsome Life, for featuring my post,  An Old Fashioned Christmas in the Living Room, Part 1,  from last week's Home and Garden Party!!
Thanks so much, Kathy!!

Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!!

The Powder Room undergoes the biggest transformation for Christmas and Winter because I actually change the color theme of this room!!!

This is what the Powder Room looks like normally......
The color theme is pink, gray , white and black!!

It has now changed to blue, white and silver for Christmas and Winter.....

We will start at the door........
 A wreath that I made......
Hanging from the wreath is a stocking that I embellished.....
2 Snow Buddy pins and a blue poinsettia ornament.......
Above the door is a Winter garland with pine cones and white and blue icicles hanging form it......
In the corner to the left when you walk into the Powder Room.....
On a shelf.......
I added greenery to the silver candle sticks......
A lighted mercury glass tree and Snow Buddies!!!
Below the shelf....
A blue and white Winter slate.....
And a plaque that I made......
The medicine cabinet.....
On top of the medicine cabinet, greenery, Snow Buddies and silver trees.....
On the side of the medicine cabinet......
Christmas cards replaced photos in these frames......
The sink .....
A plate with a Winter scene.....
Next to the sink......
The shelf unit above the toilet......
On the top shelf, is another Mercury glass tree and more Snow Buddies.....
This shelf is an ode to Joe being a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and a season ticket holder for the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins......
The Snow Buddy is titled "Penguin Hockey" and there are a few more penguins surrounding it......
Under the shelf unit.....
Snow man towels......
More Snow Buddies, another lit mercury glass tree and a lotion dispenser.....
In the corner......
On the etagere........
Is Tree # 16!!!
A chandy hangs above the Tree......
This Tree sits on the top shelf of the etagere.......
Last year, I decided to trim this tree to make it thinner and this year, I trimmed it even more........
Now I think it fits much better here......

The Tree is topped by a bow and sparking silver branches......
It is decorated with mostly Snow Buddy ornaments......
Some silver balls and white snow flakes......
Tuffs of Buffalo Snow were tucked into the Tree......
Along with glittered greenery picks......
And blue berries.....
It is lit with 2 sets of battery operated LED lights......
One set is blue and white icicles!!!
More Snow Buddies underneath the Tree.....
On the shelf beneath the Tree........
Is a Village scene.......
A blue church and a mercury glass tree.....
A few Santa's and a blue and white house ornament.............
A 3 tier shelf next to the etagere......
A reindeer.....
A white tree......
A Snow Buddy and 2 dome ornaments....
2 Santa ornaments hang at each side.....
And a silver tea pot, blue and silver beaded garland and a few ornaments lay on the bottom shelf.....
Next the the eatgere.......
Is another shelf unit....
There are 2 shelves on each side of it with Santa's on them.....
The left side....
Below the shelves are sconces.....
  That ornaments hang from....
The picture that hangs at the top of the shelf unit is an old Home and Garden party picture.....
The other shelf and sconce on the right side.....
On the top of the shelf are blue bottle brush trees bought in target last year......
And mercury glass owls and a sweet Vicitorian style angel......
The top shelf inside shows my love for shopping as the Snow Buddies on the left is titled "Shop til You Drop!" and the Snow buddy on the right is titled "Charge" which I am proud to sat that i no longer do !!
The two in the middle on the chair are relaxing after a long day of shopping!!
On the bottom shelf, the Snow Buddy of the far left reminds me of my dad who was a Carpenter with his tool belt on, a scene depicting a "Tea Party" is next to it, then the next one it titled "Remodeling" because I am a Carpenter's daughter and the one on the far right reminds me of my Mother who was always cleaning with the buckets of water!!
Beneath the shelf unit is a picture frame with a Winter scene in it.....
The silver creamer contains Q Tips and the sugar bowl holds cotton balls.....
Above the closet doors that house the washer and dryer, I added a "new to this room" branch garland......
I hing a few icicles , snow flakes and a hand painted snow man ornament form this garland.....

And that completes the tour of our Powder Room........
After Christmas, I will remove anything Christmas related, add a few red hearts and some Valentine Snow Buddies and keep it all this way until the beginning of March.....

After all, we live in NEPA and our Winters sometimes last until April!!

Continuing along my Christmas Home Tour, I will be sharing my "Sweet" Christmas Kitchen........
Click HERE to see a "Sweet" Christmas Kitchen......

I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  1. You have so much fun decorating for every holiday, Debbie. That pale blue is the same color I had throughout last year. This year most of my stuff is packed away in preparation for a move so I didn't do much this year---that sure seems weird.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your decorations! xo Diana
