I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

Christmas in the Living Room, Part 1, Christmas Home Tour 2015

Welcome to Christmas in the Living Room!!

We will start over here to the right of the front door with a marble topped plant stand........
I have flameless candles on a timer in the large candle holder
 And apothecary jar beneath.....

Joe's Grandmother's Hutch...
On the left side of the Hutch.....
There are battery operated LED branches in this arrangement......
The top of the Hutch.....
New this year are the gold glittered Led Trees that I bought on Clearance last year at Kohls.
I added some gold branches and candle ornaments to this swag.........
On the other side of the hutch......
The garland above the antique mirror has 2 sets of lights on it ......
Nativity Sets and Angels are displayed inside of the Hutch......
Looking upstairs......

Looking down at the lanterns as you walk down the steps.....
The corner by the Hallway to the Kitchen.....
On top of the marble topped table......
The little Skater Girl was mine as a child.....

Tree #15
This Tree is decorated with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments bought at yard sales and flea markets.......
I have a clear beaded wire garland wrapped around the Tree.....
The lights on this Tree are frosted white ball Led lights....
All the ornaments are in shades of red, gold and green , which is the color theme for the Living Room Christmas decorations.......
The Tree sits on a Victorian style chair.......
Bearington Bears and a flameless candle surround the bottom of the Tree.......

Underneath the chair is a Santa head in a vintage boot and a rocking horse......
 Looking back towards the Hutch.....
The top of the Curio
The inside of the Curio is decorated with Angels and a collection of Crystal......
I have decorated the inside with ornaments and gold snowflakes......

  4. It must be amazing just to sit quietly in the room with all the lights twinkling and take it all in! Like somebody else said - just WOW! The little model family (are they carol singing?) is adorable. The room looks calm, luxurious, welcoming and I wish I could come and have a cup of tea or coffee with you there!
    Happy, happy Christmas, Deb.
