I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.

Christmas in the Stores: Michael's

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I went to Michael's the other day. I had stayed away for some time , trying to be good.
When I walked in, I stood there speechless.
They had totally re-arranged the entire store and flipped everything from one side of the side to the store!!
It looks nice but it will take me awhile to get used to the new look.
Anyway, Michael's is loaded with Christmas merchandise so I thought I would share ,with all of you, what Micheal's has to offer for the Holidays this year.
I am doing this independently , I am not getting any type of reimbursement from Micheal's and I hope to share Christmas merchandise from other stores with all of you in the future.......
As you can see, I am letting the pictures do the talking......
Enjoy all this Christmas Beauty!!
I do hope they get in more of the white wreaths and branches.....
Well, Will you be heading to Michael's for some of these Christmas Goodies?????

I sure will be......

I hope to start my Christmas decorating this week but because of our Remodel and of Co Chairing our church Craft Fair and Specialty Basket Raffle the end of November, I can not promise that I will be able to decorate my upstairs this year.

Just too much going on all at one time and remember that I work full time night shift!

So I am going to focus on the downstairs and see how far I get if I get to the upstairs......

  2. The closest Michael's to me is over two hours away so unfortunately, unless we are headed that way for something else as well.....I just won't have the time to get there lol. Doesn't just seeing all of the Christmas stuff just get you excited!? It does for me. Thanks for the pictures :)

  5. Our closest Michael's is 2 hours away so I don't go as often as I would like. I do, however, have a HL about 2 miles away...yea! Looking forward to seeing your "new" house all decorated for Christmas...hugs, Penny

  6. We were at the Jackson store last week end. They sure did have lots of wonderful things.

Needed a few things I could not find at HL. Oh we have a new and bigger HL. Spent 2 hours a few weeks ago wondering that one. Lots of beautiful Christmas things there too.

  8. Yes indeed Debbie ~ that is your kind of store! Have you seen the Country Door catalog? They have a very charming five foot tall Santa I am itching to order!

  9. I love this post!! I live hours away from a Michaels store but I'm always looking for craft supplies. It was fun to shop your site. If I see things I like I know where I can get them. Thank you.

  10. Thank you for a tour of the store. Erie is two hours away but I'll be sure to look for those chargers next time I'm there.

  11. Hi and wow Debbie! I haven't been there in a while too and boy do they have a lot of things to decorate the house and a tree. Sometimes these stores overwhelm me and sometimes I love them. I have so many decorations to decorate 3 houses! Take care and thanks for that great tour. I love the silver and gold decorations and the silver charger. Julie

  19. Our Michael's closed down years ago. Everything looks so pretty and it makes me want to go to Augusta, GA or Columbia, SC(the 2 nearest stores, I think). Their shelves look very well stocked and inviting. Thanks for sharing!

  22. Hi Debbie,
I LOVE going to Michaels this time of year! Only five minutes away. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I go in!
It's nice to see a little pink in there. However, at least here in our store, there is no pink ribbon. I'm hoping they will bring some in. Looks as though most of the decorations and ribbon here are in the traditional reds and greens. Thanks for sharing at my HOME and have a great rest of the week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  23. Uh, oh, Debbie, you're gonna get us all in trouble! LOL! Nice to window shop before we go, though. :)

  24. Your Michaels looks like a large store, the one near me is rather small - but that doesn't stop me from going there - constantly. Great photos!

  25. So many pretties! I've stayed away from Michael's also but just got a coupon for 25% off my order including sale items so I just might have to break down and head over there! Thanks for sharing at TTF!

  26. Ours was changed up a bit too, but not so drasticly. We now have the lineup corral like JoAnn's does to get in line and be served next. I hope it works better when they are busy because check out was always a pain there. That predecorated blue tree has my Mother In Law's name on it! I'll have to go check out the store.

  27. Oh my goodness. Look at all those Christmas balls and ribbons. The projects one could do!

  28. These pictures make me want to go out and buy Christmas decorations, but I'll wait for the after Christmas sales. I have a Michael's near me. They took over the store after Borders went out of business.

  29. Wow, Debbie, I think your Michael's is bigger and has a lot more stuff than ours. We have three near by and they don't seem to be as well stocked. Thanks for the pics -- it was fun to see a Michael's in a different part of the country. (BTW: I would love to have a Hobby Lobby close by.)

Thank you for linking up with Inspired Sunday!

  30. Wow! Thank you for making me want more Christmas decorations when I don't need them, LOL! Need has never really entered into my decorating scheme of things...

Now I feel like I can go shopping, knowing exactly what I want. You are full of awesomeness! But, if I get in trouble, I'm blaming it on you.

You & I must be around the same age as I since your old Christmas pictures very much resemble my own - ha! It takes one to recognize one, right?

I was born with the decorating gene since my mother thought decorating our plastic Japonica tree was sufficient. Pffft! Little did she know.

  32. Debbie, the stores are overflowing that's for sure. We didn't have a Michaels close for a long time so I rarely went there. We have a new one, but I have only went there once. Still go to Hobby Lobby more. It's a little closer and hard to break old habits. lol! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann

  33. Wow! I really need to go check out our Michael's store soon. The last time I went in there was Halloween day and I was mesmerized by the 80% off Halloween stuff. I need to go back with "new" eyes on to see the Christmas things that are out now. It looks like from your photos that some of the things are already on sale. Thanks for posting these photos!

  34. Thank you very much, now I HAVE to go to Michael's!!!! LOL!!!! Thank you for the preview :)

  35. Awesome! Michaels is a dream story anyhow - now it's a Christmas dream store! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,

  36. Debbie, where do you live???? Our Michaerls is not hhalf the size of this one! Wow, you are very lucky to have all this at your disposal! Thanks for the tour.

  37. The closest to me Michaels closed up last year. While I mis them, I can make a road trip to another about an hour away. Maybe I will have to - I want a top hat!

The positive side to that is I got GREAT closeout deals! All those huge plastic ornaments that go on outdoor trees - under $5 each. Many under $3.
Now if the wind would die down I could decorate.

  38. OK.......so now I am excited.
My nearest Michael's is an eight and a half hour flight away from the UK but it just so happens that I will be on that plane next Saturday and Michael's is just around the corner from my hotel in New York.
How fantastic of you to give me a look at their Christmas display.
    Sheila
