I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.

SOME NEW CHRISTMAS TREASURES!!!

Hello!!

For those of you who have not yet visited me here at my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas,

WELCOME!!!!

Today I would like to share with you some Flea Market and Salvation Army Finds, all Christmas Items!!

These are a pair of darling Vintage Christmas Salt and Pepper Shakers which will look great in my Kitchen!!

And next is a pretty ornament which will find a place on one of my trees!!

But I have really been dying to show you these treasures and I thought it would be perfect to create a little Christmas Tea vignette for Tea Tuesday in Blogland!!

Now originally when this little beauty came into our Church Flea Market, I thought it was a Tea for One Set but as I opened the box and took out the pieces, I received a pleasant surprise!!

The Santa's and the greenery are all from the Flea Market.

And here is the surprise!!

It is a tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl!!

Now how cute is this!!

Then I went to Salvation Army and found this cute demitasse cup and saucer for a mere 99 cents!!!

Look at the pretty poinsettia's embossed on the cup and the cut outs in the saucer!!

And the tea spoon with the rose on the tip of the handle came from Salvation army for 25 cents!!

The gold place mat is one for that I bought on Clearance after Christmas at Target!

I am linking up to these great parties:

Tea Cup Tuesday

Tea Time Tuesday

Tea Pot and Tea Things Tuesday

Rednesday

Show and Tell Friday

Garage Salen PArtay

Deck the Halls Friday

Thanks for visiting me today and every day that you take the time to stop by!!

Hugs,
Debbie

  1. Hi Debbie...

Oh, such cute Christmas things...and the surprise you got with that snowman tea set, is really a great story :) :) :) You know I LOVE yard sales..and it's really neat to see the treasures that everyone finds and displays :) :) :) Oh, did I tell you I lived in Norway for a year...in addition to living in Germany? There was a town there in Norway that had a Christmas store...all year long...nothing but Christmas stuff. I think it was called Drøbak, but I'm not sure anymore. I'll have to see if I can find the photo in my photoalbum. Anyway, I think it's okay to have Christmas stuff up all the time, if that's what you like :) :) :) Thanks for sharing these with us. Oh, that was a great deal on the demitasse and saucer, too!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  4. Hi Debbie,

I love your site, you have some great Christmas ideas here. What are your thoughts on gift baskets as Christmas gifts? I do sell gift baskets on my website, www.mdmimports.com/gourmet-coffee-gift-baskets but want to expand that with some ideas for Christmas, but don't quite know what I should include in that kind of basket. If you would share some ideas with me, I would appreciate it.

  5. Hi Debbie,
Well, you must know I'm drooling over your sweet little tea-for-one set! That is the cutest thing ever for Christmas. Love the demitasse too and the cute spoon. Lots of fantastic finds. I wish there were more places to look here where I live. The Island is pretty small so we don't have near the antique shops and flea markets that you would have.
Thanks for sharing your treasures! A very cute tea post!

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  12. Hello Debbie! I love your new Christmas blog and I am a new follower!
I do love your tea set, so festive! Your poinsettia cup is lovely as well. You have everything you need for a tea in front of the fire on a frosty winter night.

  13. Hello Debbie, My mum would just love seeing your snowman 3in1 tea set. I will have to let her know about your Christmas blog. I like your little white Saint Nicholas. My family never had the jolly American version of 'Santa'. For us it has always been Saint nick dressed all in white. Take care.

  16. I can imagine the treasures you come across as you run your church sale. I was a manager at the Salvation Army for 13 years. It was like Christmas every day. I think the snowman is adorable. And now you've got me thinking about Christmas even though it is still in the 90's here in north Florida. BE BLESSED

  18. Debbie,

I'm so glad you posted on this blog, as I have been unable to visit your other blog for some strange reasons. You always faithfully leave me comments, and I haven't been able to return the visit for several weeks. It's not just your blog...it happens on about 3 or 4 others as well. I get some strange "operation aborted" message pop up. To the best of my ability, I think it happens on blogs that have a "shabby blogs" background, but I don't know that for sure.

Anyhow, I'm so glad that I can get on this blog, so that I can see what you are up to. I'm going to be following this blog...and maybe one day in the future, things will change and I will be able to get on the other one. (My computer just must have a problem with some setting...it blocked me from Sherry's Country Wings in Phoenix for about 4 days, and then, the problem was resolved.)

Anyhow, that snowman tea set is beautiful!!! Despite hating snow and all things to do with snow and winter, I think he's adorable. Totally unique and lots of fun. Also, your gold spoon is lovely. I love finding treasures like that in the thrift store.

    Blessings,
    patti

  20. I think hanging the matchbox's as ornaments is a great idea. That is what I plan to do with mine. I want to have a tree all it's own for these treasures. I am also thinking of making some for Halloween!
